Axiom

Axiom

The raison d’etre of Axiom is redefining the traditional 3Rs with new meanings – Research, Rehearse and Reflect – is a paradigm shift. This will foster and ensure inquiry, reflection, research, collaboration, teamwork – all cornerstones of Axiom and a much more different and positive interface between teachers and students for larger, beneficial outcomes which are sustaining. Under Axiom, the traditional teacher’s role too undergoes a transformation. Instead of being a knowledge provider in a one-sided way, the teacher acts as a guide and a facilitator, making learning a joyful experience and one that moulds students in a different way to make them better individuals. What’s more, Axiom also addresses the teacher’s dilemma of how to unlearn the old to learn the new and address the challenges of the new system much more confidently. In fact, it makes the transition much smoother.

Axiom addresses the concerns of all the stake holders of the education triad – school managements, teachers and students – and integrates them seamlessly. The biggest advantage of Axiom is that it does not call for any change in the syllabi or the curriculum. It simply handles it with a different approach. Moreover, Axiom with its holistic, 360* approach fits well whether in a CBSE/ICSE/IB curriculum or any of the various state board curricula. It does not entail huge costs or major revamp in the school’s structure or the teaching methodology. A little change and the benefits are immense and lasting. The change has begun and schools that have adopted Axiom say it themselves.

Thematic.. cross-curricular.. activity-rich..fun filled!

Axiom offers a learning tool kit customized to the board that the school is affiliated to. This tool kit is built on the principles of investigation, observation and application. The teacher resource toolkit provides a sharper focus in planning, teaching and assessment strategies that will enable the teachers to make the students look for learning rather than telling what’s in the text books.

The student resource toolkit helps the learner make a shift from merely answering questions towards asking questions to seek more answers.  The school resource toolkit includes framing of customized ‘learning policy‘ besides standardizing the academic processes.
